Hundredfold Books is a trade name of BeCharityWise, LLC ("we"). These terms apply to every service you book and every product you buy from us ("you"), including Hundredfold Author Services and Voice to Volume. By checking the box at checkout, you agree to them.
1. The service. We provide the service you booked, as described on our website on the day you booked it, for the manuscript or material you supply. Word counts are based on the manuscript as submitted. Anything beyond that description is quoted in writing first and never started without your written agreement.
2. Your book stays yours. You keep all rights in your book and 100% of its royalties. We claim no ownership, license or option on this or any future book. Your book is published on your own account, under your name or imprint, never under ours. If a church or organization pays for a Voice to Volume book, the person or body you name in your intake form owns the book and receives its royalties; we put that in writing before work starts.
3. Fit. We work on clean and closed-door books, and nothing written against God or Jesus. If we find, before work starts, that a book isn't a fit, we refund you in full.
4. Payment. Services under $300 are paid in full at booking. Most others: 50% deposit at booking, balance on delivery. Voice to Volume: 40% at booking, 30% when you approve the first chapter, 30% on delivery. Final files are released when the balance is paid. We can invoice a church or organization directly.
5. Dates. Turnaround times run from the day we receive everything we need from you. We confirm your start and delivery dates in writing. If your reviews or answers arrive later than the time stated for your service, the project pauses and rejoins our queue at the next opening, and the delivery date moves accordingly.
6. Revisions. Covers: you approve a written design brief first; we then create one design and make two rounds of changes, each a single list of changes within the approved brief. After the second round the design is final: we release the files once you've paid in full, and you're free to take them to another designer for anything further. There are no further cover rounds and no new concepts within the same order. Voice to Volume: two review rounds; further rounds are charged at $75 an hour, quoted first.
7. The First Chapter Promise (Voice to Volume). If the first chapter doesn't sound like you, tell us within 14 days of receiving it and we'll end the project and refund everything paid except a $500 planning fee.
8. Ending early. Either of us may end a project with written notice. If you end it, you pay for work completed to that point and receive that work. If we end it, we refund anything paid for work not yet done. We may end a project if communication becomes abusive or the content changes to something we don't work on.
9. Communication. By email. We reply within two working days. Calls and sessions are only those included in your service.
10. Your material and permissions. You confirm you have the right to use everything you send us. You're responsible for permission to use quoted material (including Bible translations beyond their published limits, song lyrics and long quotations) and for consent from real people who are named or identifiable; we'll flag what we notice. Any permission fees are yours.
11. How we use tools, including AI. We use software tools, including AI, in our work. For editing, AI tools do much of the first pass; an experienced editor reviews and approves the finished edit, and every change comes to you as a tracked suggestion. For Voice to Volume, AI tools help draft from your own recordings and interviews; every chapter is reviewed by an experienced writer and approved by you. Amazon asks authors whether a book contains AI-generated text: for Voice to Volume books, the honest answer is yes, and we'll explain how to answer. Material that is generated by AI without enough human authorship may not be protected by copyright; your own words, and the human selection, arrangement and revision of the book, are. Ask a qualified adviser if this matters for your book.
12. Confidentiality. Your manuscript and material are never shared, published or used to train anyone's AI tools by us, and never shown in our portfolio without your written permission.
13. Covers. Cover images are licensed stock photography, never AI-generated art. You may use your cover for your book and its marketing, in line with the image licenses, which we'll name.
14. No guarantees of sales. We promise the service described, not sales, rankings, reviews, awards or agents.
15. Testimonials. We may invite a testimonial. It's always optional, honest and in your own words, and never affects your price.
16. Limit of liability. Our total liability for any service is limited to the amount you paid for it.
17. Digital products. Templates, kits and courses are for your own books and your own church or organization; please don't resell or share them. If one isn't what you hoped, email us within 14 days of buying for a full refund. Any price you paid for a kit or course counts toward a done-for-you service booked within 90 days.
18. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
When you join our list, request a sample edit, register for a workshop or book a service, we keep your name, email address and the answers you give us, so we can deliver what you asked for and write to you. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your card details.
We never sell or rent your information. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us at any time to see or delete what we hold about you by replying to any of our emails.
