Voice to Volume
Your message, your ministry, your mission: in a book that reaches the people who need it.

You've already said it. We'll help you put it in their hands.

From pulpit to page, from founding story to finished book.

Some messages are too important to live only in the room where they were first spoken. The sermon series that changed your church. The teaching people still quote back to you. The story of how your ministry began, or the testimony God keeps asking you to tell.

You don't need a platform or a personal brand. You need the message to reach the people who weren't in the room. That's what Voice to Volume is for. You talk; we write it with you, in your own words; you approve every chapter; and the finished book is yours.

What a book can do for your ministry

Small groupsA ready-made study of the series you've already preached, with questions in every chapter.
NewcomersA gift for every new family that tells them who you are and what you believe.
Donors and volunteersYour founding story, on every banquet table and in every board member's hands.
Mission partnersSomething to send with your teams, your partners and your sister churches.
LegacyYour teaching and your story, passed on to the people who come after you.

Our promises to you

  • Your words, your theology. We write from what you've already said and taught. You approve every chapter.
  • Every right and every royalty is yours. If your church or organization pays, we put in writing whoever you've agreed will own the book. We claim nothing.
  • Your own account. Your book is published on your account, under your name. Your name alone on the cover, or "with Suzanne D. Burns," as you prefer.
  • Honest about our tools. We use AI tools to help draft from your recordings. Every chapter is reviewed by an experienced writer and approved by you. When you publish, Amazon asks whether a book used AI-generated text, and for this service the honest answer is yes. We'll walk you through it.
  • Our faith. We serve churches and ministries across denominations, write within historic Christian faith, and leave secondary matters to you. If a book is one we can't write in good conscience, we'll say so before any money changes hands.
Founding place

One founding place at 20% off

The Message Book for $3,195 or the Mission Story for $4,395, booked by 31 January 2027. In return: a short feedback form at the end, and permission to share a short excerpt you approve. We'll also invite a testimonial; it's optional and doesn't change your price.

Questions

How much of my time does it take?

A 90-minute planning call (or six one-hour interviews for the Mission Story), then reading and approving chapters. Allow two or three hours a week while chapters are coming.

Will it sound like me?

It's written from your own words. That's what the First Chapter Promise is for: if the first chapter doesn't sound like you, stop there and receive everything back except a $500 planning fee.

Is this ghostwriting?

It's your message, in your words, written with you. You're the author. You decide whether the cover carries your name alone or "with Suzanne D. Burns."

Who owns the book if my church pays?

Whoever you and your church agree. We put it in writing at the start; we claim nothing.

What about Amazon's AI question?

Because AI tools help draft from your recordings, the honest answer to Amazon is yes. We'll walk you through it, and it doesn't change how your book is sold.

Can the book include stories about real people?

Yes, with their permission, or with names and details changed. We'll help you decide which.

What about Scripture quotations and other quotes?

We'll flag every Bible translation's permission limits, long quotations and song lyrics, and help you get any permissions you need. Any permission fees are yours.

Can my church buy copies?

Yes. Your Reach Plan shows how to order author copies at printing cost, for small groups, newcomers, events and partners.

Do you work with nonprofits that aren't churches?

Yes. The Mission Story was made for founders and ministries whose story deserves to be told.
